Şu an için resimli bir anlatım yapmaya gerek yok ama ilerde daha detaylı inceleriz.Oyundaki kartlar ve özelliklerine kısaca bakalım.

1- Attack Level Cards (Kenarında C yazar ):Bunlar oyuncunun ofansif mi defansif mi yoksa dengeli mi oynayacağını belirler. 2009 daki defence level gibi düşünebilirsiniz.

2- Playing Style Cards(Kenarında P yazar): Bunlar ise o oyuncunun oyun stiline özgü kartlardır.Üzerine geldiğinizde stili gösteren bir animasyonu göreceksiniz.Bu kartların çalışması attack level cards lara bağlıdır.Örneğin bir oyuncunun C simgeli kartını defence minded yaparsanız Playing style Card larından ofansif olanlar devre dışı kalabilir. Ayrıca takımın genel mantalitesi defansif olursa (team style) bu kartlardan bazıları devre dışı kalabilir. Bazı kartlar da sadece CPU nun kontrol ettiği oyuncular üzerinde çalışır.

3- Skill Cards (Kenarında S yazar ) : Bunlar tam olarak pes 2009 daki special ability alanlarıdır.Oyuncuya özgü hareketleri temsil ederler.Bir aktivasyon seçenekleri yoktur.Oyuncu hakkında bilgi vermek içindir.

Positional Cards
Overlapping Run - Player focuses solely on attack
Deep Cover - Player focuses on defensive duties
Classic No.10 - An old-style static playmaker who makes use of deft touches and passes rather than pace or movement
Anchor Man - A deep sitting defensive midfielder protecting the back line
Trickster - A skilled dribbler who uses the step-over to great effect in wizarding past the opposition
Speed Merchant - A pacey player who likest o get forward
Mazing Run - A great dribbler whos quick turns and dummies are a handful for any defence
Pinpoint Pass - A long ball expert who can play quality passes from deep
Early Cross - A player with great vision who won't miss the chance to hit an early cross
Box to Box - The indefatigable all-action player covering every blade of grass for the full 90
Cut Back Pass - A player who likes to shoot across goal to bring others in to play
Incisive Run - A dribbler whos expertise is to cut in from wide areas looking forgoal scoring opportunities
Long Ranger - A player who needs no invitation to shoot and will always try to creat space for a shot
Enforcer - A tough combative player whose sole purpose is to keep the opposition attack in check
Goal Poacher - A predatory striker who plays off the shoulders of the last defender
Dummy Runner - A player who attracts the defence to create space for other players to exploit
Free Roaming - A player with a keen eye for goal who surges forward at any given opportunity
Extra Attacker - An offensive-minded centre half who orchestrates the attack from the back
Chasing Back - A forward who likes to track back and help out the defence
Talisman - The talisma who can drive the entire team forward
Fox in the Box - A striker who lurks in the opposition 18 yard box just waiting for the ball



Skill Cards (Can be learned through training in master league)
Reaction - The player will regularly run behind the defence and go for goal
Passer - The player will create goal scoring opportunities with perfectly timed passes
1-on-1 Finish - Makes 1-on-1's easier to put away
PK Taker - Makes the player a better penalty kick taker
1-touch Play - Improves the player's first touch when passing and shooting
Outside Curver - Improves touch when using the outside of the foot
Man Marking - Makes the player stay tight on the opponent when marking
Slide Tackle - Improves the player's ability to slide tackle
Covering - Player will provide better cover for any space left by teammates
DF Leader - Makes offside traps more effective
Penalty Saver - Improves chances of saving penalties
1-on-1 Keeper - Makes it harder for the opposition to score in 1-on-1 situations
Long Throw - Improves the range on long throws
Quick Turn - Enables quick turn
Marseille Roulette - Enables marseille roulette
One-footed Roulette - Enables one-footed roulette
Elastico - Enables elastico
Cross Over Turn - Enables cross over turn
Quick Scissors Dribble - Enables quick scissors dribble
Scooping - Enables ball scooping
Super-Sub - Improves player's ability when introduced late on in the game
